The PBFL Committee will be holding ‘Kick-About’ days for all age-groups in the coming weeks at the PBFL ground – Jubilee Way, Tolworth.

Saturday 10th August 2019

u8’s – 9.30am to 10.45am (latest)
u10’s – 10.45am to 12pm (latest)

This ‘Kick-About’ day is for all children who currently play at PBFL & for those of you who will be NEW to the league for the 2019/20 season.

Questions you may be asking yourself:

Q1) I am new to the PBFL league & I don’t know who my Football Manager & Team is??
A) Don’t worry!!! On the Kick-About days, I shall have all of the Team Sheets for the upcoming 2019/20 season available to view at the PBFL ground. If you haven’t received any communication from your manager prior to the kick-about day, I will inform you of your respective team allocation & who your manager is.

Q2) I have recently registered to play at PBFL via the website – have I been allocated to a team??
A) Yes!!! All current children at PBFL and all of you who have recently registered to play at PBFL have been allocated a team – so don’t worry!! I will have all the details on me at the Kick-About.

Q3) I am unable to attend the Kick-About date – will you be holding more??
A) Yes. If you are unable to attend the date listed above, please e-mail me at; martin.bright83@googlemail.com and I will e-mail you updates on further dates. I am hopeful that your respective managers will be in contact with you shortly and they may organise something with you for your team.

Q4) I have been allocated to my Current / NEW team and my manger has contacted me. Do I still need to attend the Kick-About Day??
A) The Kick-About day is available for all of you – regardless of who your manager is. If you fancy coming down PBFL and having a game of football then please do so.
PLEASE REMEMBER – I shall be organising you into teams to have a friendly kick-about and not necessary in your teams for the upcoming season. If of course there are enough of you from the SAME team – I will organise you into these teams so you can get to know your team mates for the upcoming season.

Q5) I have friends at School / Cubs / Scouts who are interested in playing football at PBFL – Can they come down and have a game??
A) Yes!!!!! The PBFL league is always looking to recruit more players. If your friends want to join PBFL for the upcoming season – please invite them down to the ground on the correct date & time as listed above.PLEASE INFORM your friends of the following though;
➢ NON TRIALS – Everyone is welcome. Boys / Girls. Enabled or Disabled – we welcome everyone to PBFL.
➢ RANDOM TEAM SELECTION – Albeit I know that many of you will be bringing your friends down PBFL in the hope that they can play for your team – but I CANNOT promise this. Allocation of children to teams is done on the basis that if a manager is short of players in his team – I will allocate a child to that team.
I WILL ALWAYS TRY MY BEST to allocate you & your friends to the same team if I can!!

Q6) What do I need to bring with me on the day??
A) Please ensure that you have;
➢ Suitable boots / trainers. The ground may be hard – so please bear this in mind.
➢ Shin-Pads & Socks. I don’t want any injuries – so please bring these as well.
➢ Water bottle – The weather may be hot, so please bring a drink.
➢ Money – NO. The kick-about is FREE for everyone to enjoy.

Q7) My friends want to register to play at PBFL now – can they do this??
A) Yes. Please click on ‘Register to Join the PBFL’.

I look forward to seeing you all there at PBFL and should you have any queries – please e-mail me at: martin.bright83@googlemail.com
