Dear All,

I still trust this e-mail finds you all safe and well 🙂

As some of you may or may not know; other leagues within the borough are tentatively looking to start grass routes football again by Saturday 19th September.

In order for the PBFL league to start again soon – ( We are tentatively looking to start again in early October Subject to Confirmation ) – but we still have a few things to sort out before we can all K.O the new season.

KIT HAND-IN
This Coming Saturday 12th September we will be holding another kit-collection day down at the ground – whereby I am in need of any parent or child who has not handed back their playing kit from last season, to please visit the ground this Saturday and do so.

In order to ensure that we still practise good social distancing measures – the following drop-off times will be in place this Saturday 12th September;

U8: 9.30am – 10.00am
U10: 10.00am – 10.30am
U12: 10.30am – 11.00am
U14: 11.00am – 11.30am
U17: 11.30am – 12.00pm

Confirmation Of Player Numbers for this season
I am hoping that by now your manager from last season has contacted you all to ask for your confirmation that your son / daughter still wishes to play for the upcoming season at PBFL.

This is a VERY BIG PART in ensuring we can start the season shortly. Without confirmation from you as parents / children of your child’s intentions, we cannot put the teams together for this season.

If you have NOT had any communication from your previous manager – please make contact with them by Wednesday of this week to inform them of your intentions – as TEAM SELECTION will hopefully be completed by this weekend.

The last 3 big hurdles for us as a committee to undertake before the season starts are;

> Registration Day & Kit Hand-out
> Fixtures for the season
> Council Confirmation that we are allowed to play on the grounds again

Should there be anything further that you need from me or the committee – please let me know at anytime, or alternatively – please contact us through the website.

I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

Kind Regards,

Martin – For and Behalf of the PBFL committee
